I began my career in the television industry where I learned how to compose and choose the perfect shot for a nationally syndicated show. In the past several years, I've discovered my true passion is showing people how incredibly beautiful and loved they are. Portrait and lifestyle photography allows me to do just that.

 

I've learned from my own family photo sessions over the years that it takes a special person to work with children, direct clients, dream up the creative vision for the shoot, and produce high-quality, professional photos. The most common feedback I get from my clients is how easy I am to work with and how fun I make the shoot. I let your children lead the shoot. As a mother of two young children, I know that meltdowns are often irreversible! I have a special way of engaging with kids that allows the shoot to flow in a positive direction.

 

I enjoy the editing process just as much as the shoot itself. Editing my clients' photos takes my breath away on a daily basis. I often find myself moved to tears as I see their love for each other radiate from the screen. I feel truly honored to do what I do: to witness and document a moment of time and turn it into a lifelong memory and piece of art.

 

I am always chasing the perfect light, both literally and figuratively. I search for joy in the most ordinary days and even during the trying times. Life is just better that way! I am one blessed wife and mama!  I am lucky enough to live in Orange County, California where the sun shines daily. Born and raised in the Midwest, I don't take it for granted!
